All Clouds and No Rain

I realized today that in college, 14 years ago, I used to take pictures of storm clouds and the sky at sunset.  I decided to take it up again since it was supposed to be rainy a couple of hours ago, but there was only a 30% chance, so all I got was lots of dark clouds, thunder and wind.  I did get some pretty pictures though.

Sunsets are beautiful, but with clouds they're breathtaking.  It's like looking at a watercolor painting God and Mother Earth made together.

I like to call these the "Eyes of Heaven".

If you are on the Gulf Coast during the summer, you will see the most beautiful "cloudscapes" in the sky because of the heat lightning that comes around every so often.  Unfortunately, that's also the time when hurricanes develop, so be careful!
